| MONDAY 7-12-10 Fluke Dominated the action this weekend. and are wonderful table fare. Green Gulp has been the Bait of Choice for the Avid Anglers. Better action on the fast moving tides. Be ready to lose come rigs in the Inlet. Change weight from 1 to 3 oz to stay on the Bottom If you can not feel the ripely bottom you are not going to Catch the Flatties. If you are at the inlet and ther is room .try Casting straight in front of you walk your rig with the tide and increase your time in the Strike zone. A shore anglers equlivent to Drifting, You will see dramatic results in your catch. Some large Rays have been around and will spool you. If you think you are snagged but line moving with the tide it probley is a ray. Week Days a good bet the week end can get pretty crowded on the island. Sunrise and sets producing the sought after door mats.The keepers have been a lot larger than 18 inches. Ther is not much meet on sub legal Fish. I mention this becouse a lot of shorts are being kept. Game Wardens Fish to and you never know who is watching you , It is not only unsporting like to keep sub legal Fish but can be costly and effect you Hunting and Fishing Privelages, If convicted of keeping shorts.
